Paper Sundaes Birthday Blog Hop

Good Morning and Happy Sunday! Welcome to Paper Sundaes First Birthday Celebration!

If you have arrived here from Crystal's blog, then you are on the right track. If not, please go back and start at Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog and hop along so that you don't miss out on any of the gorgeous creations from the Sundae Girls (and a chance to win some yummy candy!). Remember to collect your words and comment on all of the stops so that you are entered for our SIX amazing blog hop prizes!
Your last stop will be back at the beginning where you can leave the sentence you collected along the way in the comments section for your chance to win even more!

Our challenge this week is extra special - we would like you to show us your favorite challenge from the past year! And to celebrate, we have five different prizes for FIVE randomly drawn winners!

For my today's project I revisited challenge #29 from August 1 - Stitching and I'm using an image from Lili of the Valley - Little Girls Swing Time.
I was collecting matchboxes and planning to make one of these treasure boxes for a long time, so our B-day celebration seemed like the right time. You can find the tutorial here (it's in German, but it's pretty clear from the pictures anyway).

The image was colored with Copics and the papers are Basic Grey (Olivia). I added some real stitching on the easel card on the top and faux stitching with white gel pen on the box itself.

Little note to myself: next time, I'll paint the matchboxes with acrylic paint before assembling the box, the print from the boxes still shows a little around the edges.

The word you need to collect here is PAPER

Next on our blog hop is Shana.

If you get lost along the way, here is the list of participants:
Wendy
Tracy
Pattie
Lisa
Karina
Gloria
Fiona
Danielle
Crystal
Alica - You are here!
Shana
Christine

Thank you for looking!

Challenges:
Basic Grey - spots and dots
Delightful Challenges - Easel card (hope mine, stuck on top of the box counts too)
2 sisters - Flowers
