Paper Sundaes Challenge #2 - recipe

The second challenge on Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog is a recipe for a yummy sundae:

Ice Cream - Chocolate - the color brown

Topping - Strawberries - use pink somewhere on your card/project

Whipping cream - Lace

Cherry on the top - Flowers

This week's challenge is sponsored by Ildi Co. who will award a winner (randomly selected) with 4 images of choice.

I needed a box/organizer for my growing collection of cards. SO I thought why not make one now? The box started as a brown shoe box which I covered with Close to Cocoa Designer paper. All the edges are inked with Chocolate chip ink. All the papers and heart stickers are from Creative imagination scrapbooking set. I even made matching dividers for the inside.

The image is from Ildi Co and it's called Clownkins Kiss. Cute, isn't it? I colored it with with Tim Holtz distress inks and blender pens. It's a bit tricky to cover/shade a larger area with a blender pen, but it's possible - I didn't want to make the image too wet, that's why I didn't use aquapainter. Then some stiching, distressing and toppings (lace & flowers) and a box is done. And here is a detail of the top.
