Simple Spring Luna

Here is another of my new Sweet Pea Mermaids - this one is called Spring Luna. She's stamped on watercolor paper and colored with water based markers and reinkers.
I decided to keep the layout simple to keep the image the focal point, so I just sponged a piece of specialty paper from Bridal collection (Stampin up!) with cantaloupe, lulu lavender and grape jelly memento inks. This paper is really wonderful for sponging or brayering - it's very smooth so the color spreads nicely and the pattern looks like it's embossed. My spring luna card is perfect for Cupcake Craft Challenge (keep it simple) and ABC Challenge (O is for One Paper).
