#110 - Doodle Pantry - Pelican Dreams

I really like the current sketch on Card Patterns challenge blog and I was wondering what image to use - last night before I fell asleep (weird, I know..) I envisioned the Pelicans from Doodle Pantry and they seemed perfect. I combined the two pelicans in Paint.net, printed them on watercolor paper and colored them with water based inks and aquapainter. Of course I had to heat set them too.
The DP is from Basic Grey Capella collection and it fits the color scheme perfectly.
I'm also entering this card into Sew Many Challenges - stitching
