Doodle Pantry - Ibis

Are you excited to see the new Doodle Pantry digis? Laurie has another batch of wonderful images ready for you.
I got to play with this wonderful image of Ibis Bird. I used Prismacolor pencils and colored him as a Scarlet Ibis. Then I printed 2 more images, cut the bird and the leaves out and popped them up. Here is a detailed picture of the layers. Then I started hunting for the perfect designer paper - I have piles of gorjuss ones, but nothing looked right - somehow the simple dark blue CS seemed the best option - so I kept it like that - very clean and simple. Hope you'll like it.
Don't forget to check out the new challenge on Doodle Pantry's blog - it's starting tomorrow - November 6th.

So so pretty! Great idea to pop the image and leaves up like that! And I think the dark cardstock is perfect for the bird - it goes so well with its red feathers. :)

Perfect choice going with just the cardstock. It really pops the image. LOVE the layering you did. I need to do that more often!!
