It's Tuesday and we at Shopping Our Stash have another fun challenge for you. This week we would like you to try Something New.
I decided to try Acrylic Distress technique. I got couple of Adirondack acrylic paint dabbers gathering dust on the shelf and it's time to put them in good use. The wavy embossing folder and light blue paint made me think ocean and lighthouses so I made this card:
I kept it pretty simple as I wanted the acrylic background to be quite visible.
And here is a little detail:

Perfect background for your lighthouse image! Great card! I'm off to check out the technique you used!
i ♥LOVE♥ the technique you've used, and i love your card... it is "nautical but nice"!!! :) (ok, sorry, WORST joke ever, and it is *ME* saying so!!!) ♥♥♥
Alicia - This is such a great card! I love the seaside theme and the embossing folder you used gives it a "wind-swept" feel. :) I think that's a sticker with the seashells?? It fits perfect! Love it!
Blessings,
Michelle
Ooh, I love the bit of netting/cheesecloth tucked in behind the shells!
Alica, it's gorgeous!!! I just love lighthouses and this is so lovely. Total beauty!
