Flowery Birthday card

here is a card I made using a sketch from Unscripted Sketches challenge.

The background is my facial tissue experiment... inked up a Spellbinders embossing folder with Memento ink and embossed a facial tissue folded in half... tissue absorbs the ink nicely and it's nice soft to touch and the embossing holds the layers nicely together.
Sentiment is from Stampin Up and the craft chipboard tag is one of my post-Christmas purchased from M.

I'm also entering it into the following challenges:
Delicious Doodles - no patterned paper
Platypus Creek Digitals - pretty feminine Birthday card
Crafty ribbons - anything goes with ribbon

I never would have thought of embossing tissue ... but I love the soft effect ... so glad you joined us at Unscripted Sketches.

SERIOUSLY...facial tissue? What ever made you decide to try this? I am so loving the creativity that I see when I visit remarkeable blogs like yours! Swell job tying all the elements of the card together so perfectly.

Can I ask what you used to adhere the facial tissue to the card stock?

Thanks for sharing this BEYOND CREATIVE card with us this week at Unscripted Sketches. I am off to give this new technique a go!!!
