This week we at Shopping Our Stash want you to dig wwaaaaay back into the depths of your stash! That's
right- dig way down and pull out your oldest designer paper! And make something fab with/from it.
When I started crafting I got a huge 300pc pack of K&Co paper at Costco - they are lovely papers (mostly) and I did use them, but still have about 250 left :) So I used a couple for for my magic box. Fill them with goodies for lovely Easter treat or teacher appreciation gift.
The inside boxes are origami boxes - perfect for thinner paper as folding makes the boxes more sturdy. It would probably be hard to make origami of very sturdy cardstock or paper.
I stamped the outside shell with flourishes from SU Baroque Motifs set, inked all the edges and and added a flower on the top (perfect for those lovely large flowers that are too big for most of your cards)
If you would like to try this, you can find a tutorial at Life as Lou blog. The only difference is that I didn't cut and paste the boxes, but made them all origami. Here is a short video how to make them.
I'm entering it into the following challenges:
Hotshot crafts - anything but a card
Cheerful Stamp Pad - anything but a card
Sarah Hurley challenge blog - anything but a card
