SOS114 - altered notebook

This week on Shopping Our Stash we have this lovely color scheme to use and/or use woodgrain.

Inspired by Pinterest I decided to try my hand in mixed media collage and altered a composition notebook:

I used all kind of things I found in my craftroom - lace, chipboard, twine, buttons, flowers, die cuts, doily, tulle and lots of paint. I used pearl acrylic paint so it all has a lovely shine.

It was a messy job, but fun :) I'll make another one soon, just need different colors of paint :)
I'm entering it into these challenges:
C is for Challenge - fresh and bright
Simon Says Monday Challenge - diecuts and punches
Make My Monday - 3D element
