CCK - Sinking Moon

I can't believe it's Friday again - time flies so fast...
This week at Ching-Chou Kuik's Challenge and Inspiration blog we are showcasing mermaid images. Mine is called Sinking Moon and here is what I created:
The mermaid was colored with alcohol markers and the background with Prismacolor pencils. Then I pulled out my Frantage embossing powders and applied them on the image, flowers, leaves and die cuts too. Can you believe that those leaves started out as bright green?  (little tip ==> Just don't start your heat gun close to an open container of embossing powder, unless you want to have it everywhere ;) )
Background paper is from Bo Bunny's Double Dot collection. The little seahorse and shell are from Dies R Us.

Challenges:
stamps + fun =creativity - Sketch
Top Tip Tuesday - bingo - middle column - embossing/sentiments/dies
4 Crafty Chics - Sun/Sea/Sand
