I finally got some time and played with my new Distress Oxide inks. I was using one of Jennifer McGuire's tutorials and here are the results:
For the first one I used abandoned coral and candied apple
and for the blue one - peacock feathers, mermaid lagoon and twisted citron - the shiny part is done with Spica glitter markers
this was fun and I might need to add to my distress oxide collection - just a word of advice - use a thicker weight of paper - I used SU Whisper White and while it blended nicely, the paper became somewhat warped after all the inking, embossing and splattering.

These are beautiful! Love the white embossing! I'm new to the distress oxides too, and had lots of fun with them so far!

These are really effective, I shall have to try this technique. I have some distress oxides but haven't used them that much. I must change that x
