SS452 - Rockin' Birthday with Anya

I made this card for the current sketch at Sketch Saturday
and here is the sketch
I flipped the sketch and used an Anya stamp from TGF - could not find the exact image name, I had it for years, so I think it's retired. Anya is colored with with alcohol markers and I made the resto of the card really sparkly. Silver foil CS embossed with SU embossing folder, red glitter paper and black glitter tape.

SS450 - Hello Spring

It's Saturday and that means a new sketch challenge at Sketch Saturday. Here is the current sketch

and here is my take on it:

I used a Ching Chou Kuik's digi called Hello Spring. Image is colored with metalic pencils and the background panel was done by applying various distress inks onto the embossing folder before running the CS through big shot.

SS446 - Hello from the Beach

It's Saturday and that means a new sketch is being released at Sketch Saturday - here is my take on it:

I used something old and something new - my brand new Stampin Up! stamp set called Amazing You  and papers from and old paper pack called Serene Scenery. I also used my new watercolor pencils and a brand new die.

SS440 - Enchanted Christmas

It's Saturday and that means a new sketch at Sketch Saturday. Here is the sketch

and my take:
We are sponsored by The Paper Shelter this week, so we got to play with their lovely digis.  This one is called Enchanted Christmas and you can find it here. I printed the digi with background three times, cut out pieces and created a layered look. Then I decided that an enchanted Christmas needs some sparkle so I added teal and white glitter paper to the background and also some touches with Wink Of Stella.

SS436 - Witching You a Happy Halloween

This week at Sketch Saturday is an open challenge - that means you can use any past sketch all the way back to #215. I used sketch #414 and created this Halloween card.
All the papers and stickers I used are from K&Co - papers are veeery old and stickers quite new. but they work well together.

SS434 - Lotus Sprite in Pink

It's Saturday and that means a new sketch at Sketch Saturday - here it is:
and here is my card:
I used a digi called Lotus Sprite from Aurora Wings and colored it with Prismacolor pencils. Yes, I need to work some more on my coloring skills :)
On the background squares (Melon Mambo) I used different embossing folders and highlighted the patters a bit with white ink. Sentiment is from Stampin Up.

SS432 Kraftin' Kimmie Guitar Dude Birthday Card

It's Saturday and that means a new sketch at Sketch Saturday:
and here is my take on it:
I used an older Kraftin Kimmie Dude stamp, can't find it on their site so it's probably retired. Colored it with markers and used Bo Bunny papers for the background. I replaced the flowers with more masculine stars.
For the stars I covered a piece of white CS with several rows of gold and music washi tape and then die cut them.

I made this cutie card using the newest sketch from Sketch Saturday

The House Mouse image was colored with alcohol markers, polka dot paper and gold buttons are from Stampin Up. I also added some stitching  with silver marker

The image is by Aurora Wings - might be retired though, because I can't find it anywhere . It's colored with alcohol markers and I added some gold details on some of the yellow flowers. Papers are from BoBunny, metalic CS is from DCWV. Sentiment is from Stampin Up.

SS400 Hula dancer Anya

Here is another card made for Sketch Saturday

I felt like making something in warm tropical colors, so I used Hula Anya image from TGF and colored it with a mix of markers and pencils. Background is done with water-color bokeh technique. Sentiment, vellum and flowers are from Stampin Up.

SS398 Pearls in My Hair

Here is a brand new sketch from Sketch Saturday:
pretty easy, right? And here is my take on the sketch:
I used an image from A Day For Daisies - our sponsor for this week  - it's called Pearls in My Hair and you can find it here.
I colored it with Copic markers, added some little pearls in her hair and a nice soft silk ribbon (love how this holds it's shape).
Card stock is Strawberry Slush from Stampin Up and patterned paper is from Color Crush pad from American Crafts.
