This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash is called Hey, Ghoulfriend and we want to see anything Halloween related.
I don't have almost any Halloween themed stamps - so I played with my regular stuff.
I was inspired by Michelle Zindorf and used a stamp from Holiday Home set. Sponged the background with Daffodil Delight and Tangerine tango, then I stamped the house (which is an outline stamp) and colored it in with black sharpie. Stamped the trees and bats and added some black ground/mist. The orange die cuts are from K&Co and the patterned paper is from a Christmas pack.
Challenges:
The Paper Girls - Halloween
Fantasy Stampers - Black Magic
Kitty Bee - Orange and Black
4 Crafty Chicks - Orange and Black

ReplyDeleteWell, way to stretch your creative muscles!!! I love to hear when folks use off-topic supplies (like the Christmas paper!)
ReplyDeleteAlica, the SPOOKY sentiment fits perfectly on this card, that house with all those bats flying around is definitely spooky. But it's beautiful too, love the sponged sky and the pattern paper, love the little golden dots on it.
ReplyDeleteAwesome job.
Hugs,
Maria.
