Our newest challenge at Shopping Our Stash is called Power of Pastels and as you probably guessed it's about using pastel colors.
for my card I decided to try Jennifer McGuire's pop up technique from her newest video. I used a variety of backgrounds (inked and watercolored and Butterfly Briliance stamp and dies from Stampin' Up. Love this stamp, because it allows you to stamp and cut a bunch of butterflies at once.
and here is a side view so you can see the pop up in close-up. Butterflies are stamped on vellum and heat embossed

This is such a clever idea and the butterflies suit these soft colours, with the lacy white. The swirls are a perfect backdrop too. x
