Papers are from DCWV and buttons are from Stampin Up!

PSC48 - Anything but a square - Treat holder

Good morning and Happy Sunday! Today's challenge on Paper Sundaes is "Anything but a square" - easy peasy, right? And we have a wonderful sponsor for this week too - Meljen's Designs.
I got a chance to play with their adorable image called Penguin's Little Letter - it was really fun to color. It's colored with Copics and I used white glitter on his hat and on the snow too.
Then I decided to try and make this easy little treat/drink pouch holder using the new template from Doodle Pantry - it's free with any purchase. I used the .pdf files and Laurie's instructions and it was really easy to assemble. The I just added a ribbon and couple of punched snowflakes and the pouch was done.

I'm entering it into following challenges:
Secret Crafter challenge - color combo (arctic blue, lime green, carnation pink)
Stamp Something - Something Digi
Creative Card Crew - Anything Goes
Fussy and Fancy - anything but a card
Really Reasonable Ribbon - anything but a card - winter themed

PSC14 - No people, only animals

Good morning - can't believe it's Sunday again... This week on Paper Sundaes we have another fun challenge. The challenge is to use animal image on your card - no people and it's sponsored by Meljen's designs. She has tons of cute animal images in her store. For my card I used one of the freebies - and made a baby boy card. The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils and the edges are distressed with broken china distress ink. I also used Martha Stewart border punch and Swiss dots embossing folder.
I'm entering this card into Charizma Cardz challenge - monochromatic and Simon Says challenge - movie + dry embossing. For some reason this little lion reminds me of Baby Einstein kids movies my kids watched when they were small.
