House Mouse Christmas Critters cards

I had a bunch of House Mouse decoupage sheets in my stash so I decided to use some and made a bunch of simple Christmas cards. I let the decoupage do all work and only added sentiments or a few rhinestones on a few of them

not sure if you can see the layers on the main image so here is a detailed side view on one of them

25 cards from a 6x6 paper pack

First 6x6 paper pack of 2021 used up - yay! I'm on the right track. This one was called Rurality and I got it from Aliexpress. The quality was pretty good, only downside was that I.m more used to double sided paper and this one was single sided. But I liked the colors so I thought it would be a nice change after all the Christmas cards I made in December. It had no cut aparts so I used a variety of images and stamps.

And here are some detailed views - all images were colored with alcohol markers and  sentiments used are from my stash.

Mermaid from Ching-Chou Kuik.
The fairy and the unicorn - anything Fantasy Goes

variety of cute girl images - Tilda, fairy from TGF

27 Cards made from Stampin Up Moroccan papers

I'm systematically using up older papers - this time not a 6x6 pad, but an unfinished pack of paper called Moroccan by Stampin Up. I made 27 A2 sized cards. Some of them will be donated to a retirement home, some I'll gift to my friends and some I'll keep.

The colors and papers were quite gender neutral - blues, greens and browns so I made a variety of different themed cards using a whole bunch of stamps.

Art Impression stamps - love these, they are so much fun :)
The Creative Crafters - Anything Goes

House Mouse and and a Happy Hopper bunny with Stampin Up sentiments. Colored with alcohol markers
House Mouse Monday Challenge - AG + option: Fall

and some cute kitties from MFT
2 Crafty Critter Crazies - Anything Goes with a critter

I don't want to make a super long post, so I will continue with more close up photos in the next post.

20 cards with Autumn Meadows papers

Going through my stash I found several sheets of SU Autumn Meadows designer paper - I looked through some older catalogues and this paper was released in 2009 :) Time to use it up, right?

I love the combination of turquoise and browns, but I don't need many fall themed card so I made most of them just general, non-fall themed. Some of the cards were already posted before, so let me show you the rest.
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge - Anything Goes with Patterned Paper

These were pretty simple - to add some color I sponged the top and bottom of the image panel with matching inks.
Must have some House Mouse too - for the top ones I used image called Caffeine High and for the bottom ones a new set called Masked Mice - very relevant for current situation :)
Crafty Animals - Anything goes with animals
House Mouse and Friends - Anything Goes with option of leaves

and several animal themed cards - I think the wolf and moose are from old Stampin' Up sets, but I'm not totally sure. Bottom ones are from Hampton Arts set.

Recollections - Holly Day Wishes - 14 Christmas Cards

I'm back with another 6x6 paper pad turned into cards. This one is called Holly Day Wishes from Recollection and it was a partially used pack, so I managed to make "only" 14 cards :) The color scheme was craft, brown, muted red and green, so it was perfect for making more traditional Christmas cards

First up are 2 cards with House Mouse images, colored with Prismacolor pencils
Merry Little Christmas - Anything Christmas Goes
2 Crafty Critter Crazies - anything goes with a critter

these cuties are from Penny Black, colored  with alcohol markers
Allsorts - Incorporate things you love (Penny Black, patterned paper)
Colour Crazy - Anything Hand Colored

several simple cards with just sentiments
Aud Sentiment - Anything Goes with a Sentiment

on these cards I used a bunch of skinny leftover strips to paper piece the coffee cups

Prima - Breathe Paper pad - 24 cards

I'm back with another paper pack used up. This time it was a 5x7 pad called Breathe from Prima. It was missing some pages, but I had at least 3/4 of it and made 24 cards. It's not theme specific so once again I made a wide variety of cards.

Here is all of them:

most cards are the usual A2 size, but I found a large pack of 5x6.5 black cards and envelopes, so I used some of those too.
Here are some fun loving ladies from AI
Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - F is for Friends

couple cards with animals

Koi mermaid with Ching-Chou Kuik - stamped on watercolor paper and colored with water based inks
The Fairy and the Unicorn - Anything Fantasy Goes

and cute die cut girls

these 2 images are from Hanglar Stanglar - colored with Copics
Allsorts - Hand Colored Image

and some cute House Mouse - I used a glaze on the jar, so it looks shiny and glassy

17 cards from a daisyd's paper pack

I have so many REALLY OLD paper packs so I decided to use them up - today I tackled daisyd's 8x8 premium paper pack that I got many years ago at HomeSense (I just know because the sticker was still on :) ). I used the papers I liked long time ago so I was stuck with papers that I'm not very fond of, but I did it and managed to make 17 cards from a partial paper pack. I used a variety of images from my stash and when I got tired of coloring, I used die cuts - like the one with cats or a big Thank You. As before I was inspired by Kristie Marcotte - she goes through couple of paper packs every week and used a variety of sketches

Here is a look at all of them

these images are from an old Stampin Up set, colored with alcohol markers

SOS301 - Merry Christmas with House Mouse

This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash is called Back To Basics and we want participants to put away their dies and fussy cut something.
What has more fussy cutting than House Mouse 3D sheets, where you need to cut out several layers of everything? Probably not much :)

The paper is really shiny so it was a bit hard to get a good picture.

and here is a detail view where all the cut out leaves are better visible.

Challenges:

Christmas with the Cuties - add some holly

This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash is called Luck O' the Irish and we want to see predominantly green on everyone's creations.
I used a lot of oldies on this card - House Mouse stamp I had for years, Spellbinders Nestabilities I did not touch in ages and the striped paper and cardstock are from a wedding Simply Scrappin' kit from Stampin' Up.

SOS279 - Hot Cocoa For You

This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash is called Warm & Fuzzy and we want to see anything that makes you feel nicely warm and cozy.
I could not resist using this House Mouse decoupage with Hot Cocoa - I had it cut out and assembled for some time and just waiting for the right occasion.

I kept it simple to make the image stand out. The purple panel is watercolored - you know those times when you start playing with paints and make 10 different backgrounds instead of one :) Now it was a perfect fit.
