More Christmas cards with Simple Stories paper

I'm back with more Christmas cards created using the Simon Says Stamp December 2023 kit.

For most of the cards I used only things in the kit - Tim Holtz frames and sentiment sticker book. Added a few vintage Christmas stickers that I had for ages.

A Very Sparkly Christmas to You!

With all the Christmas in July challenges around I felt like making a Christmas card too:

Stamps are from Tim Holtz - reindeer is embossed with gold EP and the snowflakes with iridescent ice EP. The whole background is covered with this sparkly mix: holographic EP,  opaque sparkle vintage blue EP and shaved ice mica flakes. It was really hard to take a good picture of it  as it's all really shiny.

Christmas in pastel colors

When I saw the inspiration picture for this week's challenge at The Shabby Tea Room I fell in love - I always wanted a Christmas tree like that - all soft and pretty - but try it with 2 small kids at home, who want to proudly display their macaroni chains and foamy ornaments :)

SO for now, I just got inspired by them and created this card:

Materials:
Stamps - Tim Holtz - Mini Holidays
Papers - Pink Paisley (Butterfly garden), Memory Box (sweetbay), shimmery white CS (recollection)
Ink - Color box, Versamark
Other - flowers (Wild Orchid, Prima), clear snowflakes (Heidi Snapp), pearls, Silver embossing powder (Stampendous), light pink lace (pick your plum), scalloped lace, pearls, doily, stickles

I covered the clear snowflakes with Stickles, and embossed the plain white doily with silver EP.

PSC77 - Vintage Christmas in July

Good morning and Happy Sunday!
It's sooo hot in here, no chance of cooling down anytime soon - I wish it was Christmas already, so today's Paper Sundaes challenge worked perfectly for me. Yes, you guessed right - the theme is Christmas in July.
I felt like making something vintage looking ;)so I used my neglected Tim Holtz Mini Holidays stamp set and BG Wassail paper. I stamped on one of the beige papers from the set using brown chalk ink for Santa, Artichoke for branches and sentiment and Sahara Sand for the snowflakes. Brads are from BG Jovial collection.

Distressed Tim Holtz Christmas

Good Morning and Happy Sunday!
I made today's card with 2 challenges in my mind - distressing challenge on Paper Sundaes and no coloring challenge on Sparkle's Christmas Card Challenge Blog.
I used my Mini Holidays stamp set from Tim Holtz and a variety of Tim Holtz Distress Inks

I started with a long piece of white CS that I decided to turn into a tag. Santa was stamped with Memento, but for all the other elements I used distress inks - Peeled Paint for branches, Fired Brick for the sentiment, Tea Dye for the swirls (hard to see), Antique Linen, Tea dye and Walnut stain for distressing. Papers are from Bo Bunny Noel collection. For more vintage feel I used a velvet ribbon and creamy lace.
