Sweet Pea - Unregrettable Pirate Life

Good Morning! It's Monday again - busiest day of the week for me, but it's May, that means spring and spring makes me happy.
When coloring skin, I usually go for pale, Caucasian skin, so today I decided to play a bit with skin colors. And what's better for that than Sweet Pea stamps - they usually have lots of skin showing.
I pulled out my brand new stamp called Unregrettable Pirate Life and made not one, but 2 cards with it.
The mermaid on the first one has a really sun-tanned blondie look, so I paired her up with bright fun pink and blue papers. I started with darkest earth color Copic I have - Barely Beige (I know, it's almost a crime to have no browns - will work on it soon). She looked kind of baked, so I tried to tone it down with brown Prisma pencils. The CS is SU Melon Mambo and the blue panels are from Corredination Whitewash collection (same paper, both sides). And of course I added lot of bling. The sketch is from Crazy 4 Challenges. The image on the second one was colored with Prisma pencils only, the skin has several shades of brown. This mermaid reminds me of a Gypsy, or maybe Latina., so I added a glittery teal trim and a big flower (Prima) to the card. The DP is from K&Co Que Sera and the CS is Gable Green.
This sketch is from Friday Sketchers. I'm also entering this card into Crafts and Me Challenge - the theme is Sparkle. What do you think?
