It's only 32 days till Christmas and I decided to speed up my card making by making couple of simple, fast, one layer cards.
On this card I masked the top and bottom of the card with Post its. Then I stamped and embossed the snowflakes from SU Snow Swirled set. After that I used several shades of blue to create a fading blue background. The sentiment was stamped after removing the mask - wish I had a bigger one - I think it would look better...
I'm entering it into the following challenges:
Totally Papercraft - Snow and Snowflakes
Pollycraft - Feeling Blue
Stamping for the Weekend - Winter
These 2 cards were super simple - the colored panel is stamped with acrylic block (yes, just ink up your acrylic block, spray it lightly with mister and stamp - see tutorial on SCS). Then I stamped the ornament over it and just shaded a part of it. What can be easier?
I'm entering these into Creative Inspirations Challenge - anything Christmassy

Alica, these are gorgeous. So simple, but elegant at the same time. I may just have to make a few of my own...and what a great idea with the acrylic block!

Just AMAZING!!! So beautiful and elegant. Thanks for sharing the technique, and explaining how you did the first one too. I would have had no idea how to do that.
