FMQ Friday - bright star

here is my FMQ Friday progress report. This week we were practicing bright star. Here is mine:
Not too bad, so I decided to incorporate them into a table runner I was working on - I didn't feel like doing the whole star, so I just did half - the runner is not ready yet, so I'll post a picture of one block.
I found that it's much harder to do the pattern on an actual project than on a practice square - my main problem with this patter was to get all the lines meet in the middle - so for now I'm happy when they meet somewhere in the middle-ish area ;)
I'm pretty sure the other ladies did better than me, so check out the other links on Fluffy Sheep Quilting blog ;)

I think your bright star is fantastic! I love how you modified it in your table runner block. Can't wait to see the whole thing.

Found your blog while cruising the FNSI links. My fave thing to do on a quiet Saturday morning. :o) Your FMQ looks GREAT! That is something I've yet to try. I'm a new follower. :o) Nice to *meet* you.

Wow! You're actually using it!?!? That's so fantastic :) I think your half stars look fantastic. They're kind of like pinwheels. Great, great job!
