Flourishes release week challenges

It's the beginning of the month so it means new release week at Flourishes. This month it's also Flourishes 5th birthday. So that means lot of challenges.
So far I managed to make cards for 2 of them. First is  the Birthday celebration challenge and here is my card. Image is from Let them Eat cake set.

and a detail

the colors seem a bit of, but the blue ink and blue papers look almost identical IRL.

My second card is for the Bit of Texture challenge. I used Petals and Peace set, stamped the image on watercolor paper and  colored it with distress inks.

I used the crackled glass technique on the image and added more texture using the lace and velvet ribbon

I will try to make cards for the other challenges, but have to get some work done too ;)

What pretty cards Alicia. I love the detail of the cracked glass on your second card. It gives a quiet vintage feel to your design.
