Peacock for all sesons

Ladies over at Hero Arts contest want us to stretch our stamps this month and use stamps for different seasons than they were meant to, or use non-seasonal stamps for seasonal cards.
So I got my new Peacock stamp and started playing:
first I used it for Thinking of You card, I also used Antique Brocade background stamp in the back. Kept it simple, just added ribbon and rhinestones on peacock's tail.

Next I used it for a Christmas card. I was inspired by my Bo Bunny papers. I stamp them peacock onto a piece of DP with Versamark, embossed it with clear EP and sponged the peacock with darker inks. The green background is also from Winter Joy papers, stamped with Antique Brocade stamp. The green looks a bit weird, it's less bright IRL. Sentiment and felt snowflakes are from Stampin Up.

Then I decided to make Thanksgiving card. I used retired SU papers, Prima leaves and Wild Orchid flowers. Sentiment is from Inkadinkado.

I'm also entering them into these challenges:
Crafty Cardmakers - winged things
The Perfect sentiment - animals + sentiment
Paperminutes - combine old and new - new stamp/old papers
Mark's finest papers - Simple Salutations - animal + sentiment
