Good morning and Happy Sunday! It's time for another Anything But a Card Challenge! Challenge 5 is to incorporate the color BLACK into your project. It doesn't have to be the only color, but it should compromise a good portion of it.
I still had some not altered composition notebooks so I decided to make a fabric cover for it.
I got this beautiful black gold and cream poinsettia fabric when our local quilt shop closed and I got a lot of it :) ..and I'll be making more Christmas items from it in the upcoming weeks. The cover is removable and reusable. If you would like to make one too, you can find the instructions at Smashed Peas and Carrots.

Neat project, beautiful fabric! And thanks for including the instructions, though my sewing skills likely aren't up to this one LOL! Happy Sunday :-)
I really love your work!!! Especially the beautiful and strong pattern - love, love, love - and how you mix it up with red. Also, last week, the quilted table topper you made its my favourite. You know so well how to play with colors.
What a glorious fabric you have used Alicia. The soft raspberry colour adds another lush layer to your book cover. A perfect book for your Christmas Details.
Fabulous christmas notebook! The fabric is gorgeous! TFS
A fabulous idea!
Ohh a bargain for the fabric turned out to be a gorgeous project- so pretty!
Oh...the fabric is beautiful and you have made such a lovely cover!!
Gorgeous fabric, and how brilliant that you can remove it and transfer it to the next notebook when this one is full up!
