Embosses metalic lighthouse

I made this card for Tutorial Time Challenge on MFP SpeedyTV. TammyLee posted a cool tutorial about embossing on pop cans and I just had to try it.
It was more tricky than I thought it would be, but here is my card
I used a lighthouse image from MFP Welcome Home set. I had some troubles keeping the can straight (I'm not patient enough to leave the can weighed down beneath something heavy) - it helps a bit if you die cut your shape first and then I taped it to my craft mat with removable tape to keep the can straight :)
Then I remembered I had some colored metallic sheets and used the green one for background (embossed and sanded).
And I also opened my new packs of washi tape. I didn't add anything else to keep it masculine and don't distract from the image.

I'm also entering it into the following challenges:
Die Cutting Divas - shimmer, glimmer, gloss
Crafty Sentiments - recycle it (pop can)
Paper Pretties - masculine

This looks great and I'm impressed with how you played that technique. I saw the tutorial and had hubby cut up a can for me, but it really looked hard (and dangerous!) to work with the metal after it was all cleaned off, so it still sits several days later weighted down on the counter under some things to flatten it. Yours is inspiring though, so I guess I will have to unearth it!
