SOS88 - Glittery butterflies

It's Tuesday and that means a new de-stashing challenge at Shopping Our Stash. This week we want you to use your oldest bling ( rhinestones, stickles, glitter, etc.)

For my card I decided to try the packing tape technique with my oldest Martha Stewart glitters. I made a butterfly die cut, adhered it into a piece of clear packing tape and applied 3 different shades of glitter (dark pink, light pink and white). I also found a forgotten Recollection glitter tape that was the same color as the dark pink glitter - well - don't use it :) This proves, drawer clean ups are good for more than one reason...
Sentiment is from Flourishes Hyacinth set and the pink rhinestones are from the bottom of my rhinestone drawer.

I'm entering it into the following challenges:
House of Gilli - anything goes with pink and bling
The Squirrel and the Fox - something new (new technique)
Craft Us Crazy - die cutting

Love the gradient pinks!!
I could probably cover several cards with the glitter loose in the bottom of that drawer at my house ;)

Wow! What an amazing use of stash! Love that black & white with the wonderful pop of pink glitter. Those butterflies are gorgeous...I've never tried that technique but have LOTS of glitter, so I THINK you may have inspired me! Thanks!
