Ching-Chou Kuik - Moonlight Gathering Birthday Card

It is Friday and therefore time for me to show you an inspiration post for the Ching-Chou Kuik's Digital Stamps Monthly Challenge Blog.

For my card I have used the Moonlight Gathering image from Ching-Chou Kuik.

I colored the image with mix of markers and Prismacolor pencils. Mostly used markers for base colors and then added shading with pencils. I wanted to create a moonlight scene - colors somewhat bleached in the light of the moon.
Since the image is quite complex I left the background quite simple, just matting the image and layering it on a silvery glitter paper background with glittery paper lace as the only embellishment. Sentimet is from Stampin' Up!
