I made this card for our newest challenge at Shopping Our Stash - challenge is called Under The Weather and we would like to see either weather themed cards or get well ones.
I did a bit of both - made a get well card with a nice sunny landscape - I started of with a technique by JanB, but I adapted it to an A2 card. Check it out - it's lot of cutting, but I think the result is worth it.
This is spectacular!!! I'm going to have to use the layout design idea! Looks great with the lakeview and I love how you placed the boat atop those panels! What a great interpretation of 3 layers! Thanks for linking to MTTC! --Becca/DT
oh my gosh, alica! this is a showstopper of a card! every element is perfect, but those graduated panels with their skinny mats miiiiight be my favorite part. i'm definitely saving this to my inspiration file!!!
I agree...your labors...totally worth it!! Beautiful!! As always you offer great inspiration to those who decide to play along with our "Under the weather" challenge here at Shopping Our Stash.

Wow this is spectacular. What an awesome technique I love the scene and the sailboat on that panel just finishes the scene. Love this card.

You've created a beautiful effect here and it was worth all the work. The painting is just gorgeous in those colours. x
