Star Fold Christmas Cards

I found this tutorial for Star Fold Cards by Tina Zinck and I decided to give it a go 

Here are the 3 cards I made:

For the first one I used retired Stampin up paper and die cuts I got in Europe. Sentiment is from a Tim Holtz booklet.

Craft Consortium Wildflower Meadow meets stickers

I decided to go through my old SSS monthly kits and use the contents - kit from August 2022 had patterned paper from Craft Consortium called Wildflower Meadow and I decided to tackle it. It's not my favorite color palette (being dark and somber) but I managed to make these 7 cards with whatever was left in the kit

focal points for these 2 cards are wide washi tapes from Journalsay - stuck on white CS and die cut with a dome die.

I had these pieces precut for no idea what so I just added  ephemera and sentiments from Dollarama packs

Focal point is made with PET sticker and sentiment is a leftover from another card kit

Sympathy sentiment is from SSS stamp set that came in a kit, stamped on vellum

as you can see, I had a bunch of 2 inch strips left so just combined them on multiple cards. Digi image is from Lili of the Valley

More Sugarplum Christmas cards

In my previous post I made 8 cards using Sugarplum Christmas kit and I had lot of papers left - so I made 12 more. Not bad from one kit, right?

All the pattern paper is from the kit, just added some card bases in white, pink or blue. For focal points I used patterned papers (nutcrackers), leftover stickers or digital downloads printed on white cardstock.

Next, I'm going to try and make a dent into my Simon Says monthly kits - I made a pile of them neatly stacked up awaiting my attention :)

Photoplay - Sugarplum Christmas cards

 I didn't make any cards in a while so I'm easing back with a set made from a card kit called Sugarplum Christmas by Photoplay.

The kit has detailed instructions for how to make 8 cards, but it has much more papers - I can probably make another 8-10 cards with all the leftovers. Here is a look at all the 8 cards:

Aren't they sweet? I love non-traditional colors for Christmas cards so these are perfect. I'll be back to show you more cards I made with papers from this kit.

Thinking of you cards with PET stickers

 I was playing with PET stickers and made several cards. This first one is for our our Thrice as Nice challenge at Shopping Our Stash where we want to see 3 or more patterned papers. 

I fussy cut  different elements from various PET tapes and created a scene

For all the cards I used old Basic Grey papers I think it was probably the LilyKate collection.

For the next 3 cards I used the current sketch from Canadian Card Creators FB group - the focal points are also fussy cut PET tape images on squares of white cardstock. Sentiments are from various stamp sets from my stash.

Red hearts ephemera card

This is a card I made with goodies from Simon Says Stamp monthly kit - everything other than the card base and twine is from the kit. This month the kit included a whole pack of Tim Holtz vintage ephemera and I used a bunch of them on this card. I don't really do Valentine card but this card could be used for Valentine or any other occasion.

SOS540 - Crafty Remnants -Birthday card with PET tape

 This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash is called Crafty Remnants and we want everyone to use whatever is already on their desk from previous projects.

Since I was playing with PET tapes last week and all the tape was still on my desk I made a birthday card with the same materials as my previous posts

The embossing folder was also still out from I don't even know when. Sentiment is from a Dollar Tree stamp set and for embellishment I used some gold Nuvo drops.

Floral Birthday cards with PET tape

After seeing a lot of fun videos featuring PET tapes I got some and decided to play with them. Here are some floral birthday cards I made.

I cut out multiple clusters of flowers and layered them on a white mat. Die cut sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp

Christmas Rose cards

 I made another set of quick Christmas cards where the paper does all the work. I'm trying to use up this retired Stampin up paper pack called Christmas Rose. For sketch I used one of the older sketches by Call Me Crafty Al - I think it was from May 2023. The flowers were fussy cut from the patterned paper and I just added a small gold embossed sentiment from Simon Says Stamp.
