Watercolor Christmas

I made these cards for our newest challenge at Shopping Our Stash - challenge is called Splish, Splash and we want everyone to use a water based media or image with water in it.

For my cards I used stamps that came with a recent Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine.
Images and sentiment were stamp with Versamark on watercolor paper and embossed with white embossing powder.
Then I just swiped ink pads across the paper and blended the color with water brush. I used mostly distress ink, except for the darkest purple which is Blackberry Bliss from Stampin Up. The blue one looks a bit flat in the picture, there is more difference between the colors IRL.
Added some water splatter for more Splish, Splash effext and just a few sparkly gems for decoration
