Floral Birthday cards with PET tape

After seeing a lot of fun videos featuring PET tapes I got some and decided to play with them. Here are some floral birthday cards I made.
I cut out multiple clusters of flowers and layered them on a white mat. Die cut sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp

Sycamore Street Challenge 5 - Funny Birthday Card

And I'm back again with more cards made with Sycamore Street DSP. This paper pad seems endless :) My daughter wanted some cards for her co-workers so I made a bunch of simple ones with funny sentiments. Sentiments are from a retired Stampin Up set
The only fiddly part was to make the colorful sentiment panels - the sketches are pretty simple and embellishments minimal - just some epoxy/enamel shapes.
I still have some DSP left so stay tuned :)

SOS465 - Silver Flowers Birthday Card

Out newest challenge at Shopping Our Stash is called Full METAL Jacket and we want to see anything metal or metallic. I made this birthday card for my daughter's friend
For my card I used a large Stampin Up stamp called Daisy Garden and embossed it in silver on Night of Navy cardstock. I had this stamp for more than 6 months and this is the first time I actually used it. Sentiment is from another SU set called Friends are like Seashells. I also added a silver ribbon.

SOS289 - Blue Lacy Birthday

This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash is called Winter Blues - we want to see a lot of blue on everyone's creations, but no winter theme.
I used my whole stash of blue Distress Inks (from Broken China all the way to Chipped Saphire) and a new Stampin Up set Delicate Details. The silver sentiment does not show as well as I imagined, next time I'll stamp it in black.

Happy Birthday Flourishes

I made this card for Flourishes birthday challenge - I had it done for 3 days now and no time to post. I used the Siberian Iris set and after coloring the image I used the cracked glass technique (again) :) The CS is Bazzill Smoothies and the sketch is from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.

no time to write more, gotta run - Fridays are crazy here - but TGIF ;)

I got to play with Toby's Tasty Treat - isn't he cute? I like the image so much that I created not one, but 2 cards - one in girly colors, the other one more boyish.
