Doodle Pantry New Release - Heart Candy Ants

Good Morning! It's the 5th and that means a new batch of wonderful Doodle Pantry images and a new Doodle Pantry challenge too. You can create anything as long as you use a Doodle Pantry image.
Today I have a Valentine card for you. I got to play with Heart Candy Ants set. It's very versatile - you can place any of the sentiments inside the heart. I also used the sentiments to create the background paper. The image was colored with Copics and the sentiment background was sponged with distress inks. Next time I'll print the background on colored CS and I'll have less sponging to do ;)

Laurie also has a limited time sale on a great grab bag of images...available until January 20th...Get all or any of them for half price. Plus there is a wonderful set of love sentiments free with any purchase.

Materials:
Image: Doodle Pantry - Heart Candy Ants
Paper: White and Soft Suede CS
Coloring Media: Copics, Tim Holtz distress inks (worn lipstick, fired brick)
Other: SU Border Punch, Satin ribbon, brown lace, heart bling

Paper Sundaes Challenge #4 - sketch

I can't believe it's already 4th challenge on Paper Sundaes - time flies so fast... this week's challenge is a sketch - nice and easy to work with. The stamp I used is called Charlotte's Valentine and it's from Little Loud Stamps company - from the Freckle Love Collection. You can buy it at PaperWorks Co - our sponsor for this week. Charlotte is colored with a mix of markers and Prisma pencils. Designer papers are from a card kit I received in a cool swap called Card Kit Shower on SCS - so I don't know the manufacturer.. Card base is SU Certainly Celery, punch is from Martha Stewart.I couldn't fit the sentiment on the front so I put it on the inside

I'm also entering my card in the following challenges:
Crazy 4 Challenges - Valentine theme
Stamp Something - Love Something

PSC3 - Valentine card

Valentine's Day is just 2 weeks away so this week's challenge on Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog is to make a Valentine theme card. The images I used are from Little Loud Stamps company - from the Freckle Love Collection. You can buy them at PaperWorks Co - our sponsor for this week who's generously donating a $25 Gift Certificate to a randomly selected winner.
I decided to try and make a side step card today - it's quite easy when you have the measurements. All images (Jacob the Cupid, First Date and a tree from Standing Beneath the Tree) were colored with Prismacolor pencils. The background was created with 2 shades of Glimmer Mist - fast and pretty. I left an empty space behind the tree for a personal message. I'm also entering this card in Secret Crafter and Fussy and Fancy challenges - both want us to use hearts.
