Easter Cards with Echo Park

Since it's Easter weekend I guess it's high time to show you some of the Easter cards I made with Echo Park My Favorite Easter paper pack and ephemera. These were all quite simple - no stamping just using my Echo park goodies. Embellished them with enamel dots, Love from Lizzie peel of strips and metalic butterflies from SU

Paper Rose Spring Blessings

It's close to Easter, so I pulled out my Paper Rose Spring Blessings paper pack and made a few cards - so first are of course Easter ones - mostly using papers, cut outs and the cute duckling from Stampin Up.
Everybody Art - Spring

since these papers are pretty soft and pastel-y I also made some other cards - birthday ones and a new baby card. The little fairy is a digi image from LOTV, everything else is done using the paper pack

LOTV Easter Bunny Cards

I need to make a bunch of Easter cards to mail ASAP so I used precolored LOTV digi stamps. I'm also working on using up an older paper collection from CTMH called Chelsea Garden

So with the same image I used different sketches and sentiments. I kept them pretty flat and mailable, no extra embellishments.

Stack of Easter Cards with Lili of the Valley

I'm back again with using up some of my old partial paper packs - this time Kioshi by Basic Gray. It's mostly pastel colors that works great for Easter cards. Since I needed to make a bunch of them quick I used precolored printables by LOTV. Since I had to mail them, I kept them all flat - but that worked well with the layers and the busy print.

and here is a detailed look

Using My Stash - Easter and baby card

Since I have all this free time on my hands I'm continuing with using up old packs of designer paper.
This time I finished a really old pack of Basic Grey paper called Lilykate - Basic Grey stopped making paper packs years ago, so you can imagine the age of this paper :)
There were only 6 sheets and some scraps left, so I managed to make 9 cards - the color palette is very soft blues, greens and yellows - perfect for baby and Easter cards.

and here is a close up: baby cards using SU stamps, colored with alcohol markers

Easter Animals

Happy Easter Weekend to all who celebrate it.
It's time to show you some Easter cards I made. Since I'll be working the whole weekend, I'm planning to give them to my co-workers.
I have a LOT of stamps that are being neglected, so I decided that if I take out a stamp set or a paper pack I'll make several cards using it.
Here is the first example:
Stamp set is from CTMH and is  called Easter Animals. Patterned paper and matching cardstock are also from CTMH. Embossing folders and ribbons are SU. Animals in the 3 cards on the top were colored with alcohol markers and the bottom one with Prismacolor pencils.

Easter chick

Here is one if the cards I made for Easter this year - I made more of these, but they were mailed before I got to take a picture of them. I wanted to create something very flat and mailable, yet fun and interesting.
Not my original idea - seen it on Pinterest somewhere, but I had to figure out how to do it exactly :)
I started with stamping the chick from Honeycomb Happiness stamp set on Shimmery white card stock. Don't have any egg stamps, so I cut out an oval using Spellbinder die, then cut it into two "cracked" pieces. Lightly traced the egg pieces in pencil where I wanted them positioned then colored them and the chick using my mix of alcohol markers (blendabilities, copics and spectrum noir)
After it was done I use large Post It notes to mask the chick, egg and ground. Stamped the grass using Inspired by nature stamp. Then added couple extra free hand flicks with brush markers. Sponged the sky with Soft Sky and Marina Mist ink.
I tried to sponge the ground too, but couldn't get good enough coverage so I used copics to color it in. Traced the eggs with  thing journaling marker and added some cracks.
Sentiment and punched flowers are from Stampin Up.

SOS243 - Pink Peep

This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash is called Oh Me Lucky Charms and players have several options - either make a St. Patrick's Day creation or use a charm or use green.
Since I need Easter cards I decided to go with the charm option.
I used a chickie image from an older MFP set and scraps from paper pack in spring colors. Added a gingham ribbon and a chick charm.

Challenges:
Cute Card Thursday - Lace or Ribbon
Come and Get It - Easter
Clear It Out - AG with patterned paper older than 1 year
Creative Card Crew - chicks
Retro Rubber - Easter (stamps is at least 3-4 years old/retired now)

Cupcakes, flowers & Easter cards

I've been busy making Easter card last week - I have to mail them overseas very soon - like yesterday :)
Here are 2 of them:
For the first one I used a sketch from Clean & Simple - image from my stash, colored with Prisma pencilsI'm also entering it into Paper Play - spring colors & Paper Sundaes - Spring Blossoms

This one was very easy - I used a precolored digi I received for playing in Doodle Pantry challenge. Embossing folder is from Spellbinders.
I'm entering it into
Di's Digi Designs challenge - emboss it,
Dream Valley Challenges - Easter

Next Saturday is my first craft show and I needed to make some cute little items for impulse buyers. I made some flowers from satin, organza & tule layers, burned the edges and sewed them together. There are different sizes - I glued the smaller ones on hair clips and the bigger ones on pins to attach to clothes/bags (I'm wearing one right now)
what else did I make? Cupcakes - the non-fat kind. They are felt pincusions with pins for sprinkles. I used tutorial from The Starter Home. Flowers were cut using Tattered florals die.
What do you thin? Would you buy something like these?

-use embossed background - panel behind the image is embossed

Easter card for Flourishes Speed Challenge

Here I am with another Easter card. I used a sketch from Flourishes Speed Challenge - now I do have some Flourishes stamps, but not Easter related and I really have to make some Easter cards fast, so I decided to use an image I got from a swap last year - no clue what's the stamp's name...
I colored the image mostly with Prismacolor pencils, just played a bit with the sky as I want to enter this card into Make it Colorful challenge. I colored the whole sky with Cool Shadow and Frost Blue Copics, blended them a bit with colorless blender and then added darker shades of blue with Prismacolor pencils. The sparkles on the butterfly, bird and flowers are Stickles. Papers are from SU and cardstock is Corredination and Bazzill. The die cut behind the image is from Heartfelt Creations.

Flourishes - Spring has Sprung

Just a quick Easter card today. I finally made some Easter cards yesterday - I still need to mail them overseas ;)
I made this one for Flourishes Spring has Sprung challenge - using Signs of Spring set also from Flourishes. I kept it simple for easy mailing. I stamped the daffodils and chicks with Memento and colored them with Copics. The sky was sponged with Tumbled glass TH ink after using oval Nestabilities to cut out the image.
I also stamped the little chicks on the yellow panel with Apricot Appeal ink (hard to see in the picture). The patterned paper is from Basic Gray and I used the sketch from current Inkspiration challenge.

I'm also entering it into the following challenges:
2 sisters - Spring
If the shoe fits - Spring is in the air
Raise the Bar - Hey Chick

Penny Black - Easter Bunnies

Are you ready for some spring brightness? If not, put your sunglasses on ;)
This is a card I made for Make it Colorful Challenge - I have to brag a bit - I made it to Top 3 with my last week's card ;)
This week challenge was to add depth/shadows to our images - they have a wonderful tutorial about adding depth with grey marker. My Copic collection is quite limited so this was perfect for me - I was a bit scared to go over other colors with gray (especially with the darker ones) - but here is what I created. I have only 3 gray and 3 brown markers, so I played with them to created bunnies with different shades of fur ;)
The paper colors look a bit weird - probably bad light, just couldn't make it look more realistic - I apologize...
Papers are from DCWV Spring Glitter pack, CS is Bazzill. I made the flowers free hand from the same papers and the leaves are punched from the same pack too.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Pixie Cottage - Sketch
Charisma Cardz - Spring has sprung
Delightful Challenges - Animals
Bunny Zoe's - Spring - flowers everywhere
Simon Says Stamp - make your own embellishments

Basket with Easter Bunny

Good Morning and Happy Monday! How was your weekend?
Easter is just 2 weeks away so I created something with that theme - a little Easter Basket.I used Easter Bunny from Bildmalarna and colored him with a mix of Copic and pencils. The basket is really easy to make - you can find the tutorial on SCS. DP is from Imaginisce and the greeting is Inkadinkado.
Then just fill the basket with Easter goodies and you are ready to go :)
I'm entering the basket in Roses on Paper challenge.

Couple of Easter Cards

Easter is around the corner so I had to speed up my Easter card production. My goal was to create simple, flat, easy to mail cards. I have to mail them overseas and don't want to break the bank ;) I didn't use any sentiments as most of my relatives don't speak English - I will come up with some greeting and print it to save myself lots of writing ;)
First one is made with a Sugar Nellie stamp - Spring has sprung. I used Stampin Up DP Shades of Spring and Kraft CS. The image is colored with a mix of Prisma pencils and markers
Next come these cute bunnies from Penny Black. They are colored with Prisma pencils. CS is Orchid Opulence and DP is from DCWV Spring Pack. I used a satin ribbon and some flowers for decoration. I'm entering it into Penny Black Saturday Challenge - spring colors
For the third card I used a Sarah Kay image called Precious Moments - isn't it cute. No DP here - I just embossed a piece of So Saffron CS with Swiss dots EF and sponged the edges. Then I just used a sheer ribbon and some pearls for decoration.Last (for today) is this cute card with bunny hiding between daffodils. It's an image I got from last year's Easter swap, so don't know who made it. I colored it with markers and pencil. DP is again Stampin Up Shades of Spring and CS is Orchid Oppulence. I'm entering it into Rosie D's Challenge - Think Spring
