Clearly Delightful Challenge #10 and Doodle Pantry new release!

It's October 5th and that means another Clearly Delightful Challenge - this time the challenge is to use a Doodle Pantry image and a ribbon - easy right? And as always - you'll get a set of digi stamps just for participating!
For my today's card I used a brand new Doodle Pantry digi called Bass Fish - wonderful image for all the fishing enthusiasts in your life. Don't forget to check out the other wonderful images released today!
The image is colored with a mic of Copics and Prisma pencils and embossed with clear EP. Then I brayered the background and stamped some leaves.
The background panel used to be a pop can - I embossed it and colored it with Adirondack alcohol ink. I thought metal could go well with the manly image and I quite like how it turned out. What do you think?

I'm also entering this card into these challenges:
The Crazy Challenge - recycle (pop can)
Stamps R Us - Nature

Clearly Delightful Challenge - Holly

Second post for today - if you are looking for Paper Sundaes post please scroll down.

It's the 5th of the month which means its time for Doodle Pantry new release and another Clearly Delightful Blog Challenge. I used to participate in these challenges almost every month - now I have the honor to show you a card using one of Laurie's new Doodle Pantry images.

Today's challenge is to use a Doodle Pantry image, otherwise anything goes - if you don't have any don't worry - there are several freebies to choose from in Doodle Pantry store. There will be 3 winners and every participant gets a Get well worm set too.

Today I got to create with the new Holly and Juniper set. I used the Holly image, arranged 3 of them together and added a wish from the same set. I colored them with Prismacolor pencils, made a mask using the scalloped oval die and sponged around the greeting. Then I printed some single Holly images - colored and embossed them for extra shine, then popped them up over existing image.

I'm entering it into Cupcake Craft Challenge - get digital

Materials:
Image: Doodle Pantry - Holly and Juniper set
Paper: SU Old Olive CS, DP - BG Wassail
Ink: Antique Linen distress ink, SU Creamy Caramel, Versamark
Other: Prismacolor pencils, sponge, clear EP, velvet ribbon, pearls, button, scrap of lace

#104 - Clearly Delightful Lily

I made this card for the August Clearly Delightful Challenge with Lily digi I got for playing in the same challenge some time ago. This month's challenge is to use a tag. This was a bit of challenge for me as I rarely use tags, but I found this cute circle tag with metal edges and decided to use it. The image is colored with Prisma pencils - it's quite dark here so the image looks a bit yellower than it really easy. Cardstock is from Stampin Up and DP is from Basic Grey.
The sketch is from Card Patterns challenge.

Post #102 - Cards made for VSN on SCS

If you are looking for my Paper Sundaes or Blog candy posts please scroll down.

I have another post for you today - cards I made Friday evening for Virtual Stamp Night on Splitcoast Stampers. They are all pretty simple as the time for each challenge is 45 minutes.

First one is flower inspired. I used a Cala lily digi I got from participating in Clearly Delightful Challenge some time ago. I colored it with Prismacolor pencils and used a sketch from the Digi Shack (Sketchbook Wednesday Sketch)The second is using a blueberry image from Berry Sweet set (Flourishes). It's colored again with Prisma pencils. Here I played a little with faux wood grain technique. Really fun. The netted ribbon is from Paperworks CO.
The last card is using image from Rubber Romance. I wanted to make the card look really shiny so I embossed it with clear EP. Thought about using Crystal Effects first, but it would take a long time to dry.

Clearly delightful challenge - blue + green

I just love Clearly delightful challenges - wish they were more often than once a month. Every time you play you get a free digi image. This month's challenge is to use blue and green on the card.
I decided to use a froggie on the lily pad I got couple months for playing in this challenge.
I was inspired by Laurie's watercoloring tutorial so I decided to watercolor the froggie too. So I printed the image on watercolor paper (my first time) and when I started to color it I realized that my laser printer was not very happy with the watercolor paper and the toner smeared. :( Tried heat setting it and tadaaa - no more smearing. The background panel is made with melted crayon technique and I added small touches of lilac to match the water lily. The green flower on the left is one of my first attempts to make this kind of ribbon flower ;)
I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
