25 cards from a 6x6 paper pack

First 6x6 paper pack of 2021 used up - yay! I'm on the right track. This one was called Rurality and I got it from Aliexpress. The quality was pretty good, only downside was that I.m more used to double sided paper and this one was single sided. But I liked the colors so I thought it would be a nice change after all the Christmas cards I made in December. It had no cut aparts so I used a variety of images and stamps.

And here are some detailed views - all images were colored with alcohol markers and  sentiments used are from my stash.

Mermaid from Ching-Chou Kuik.
The fairy and the unicorn - anything Fantasy Goes

variety of cute girl images - Tilda, fairy from TGF
Colour Crazy - Anything Coloring Goes

Cure All Tea from House Mouse
House Mouse Monday Challenges - AG + option: love

MFT and some paper piecing

Halloween Card with Penny Black "Spooky" Cats

Since I had some more Studio G patterned paper left after making the previous batch of Halloween cards, I pulled out my only Halloween stamp set (Spooky from Penny Black), stamped and colored several images and made these 6 cards:

All the images were colored with alcohol markers. Since the papers are quite busy, for decoration I only used strips of black glitter paper and black Nuvo drops.

Recollections - Holly Day Wishes - 14 Christmas Cards

I'm back with another 6x6 paper pad turned into cards. This one is called Holly Day Wishes from Recollection and it was a partially used pack, so I managed to make "only" 14 cards :) The color scheme was craft, brown, muted red and green, so it was perfect for making more traditional Christmas cards

First up are 2 cards with House Mouse images, colored with Prismacolor pencils
Merry Little Christmas - Anything Christmas Goes
2 Crafty Critter Crazies - anything goes with a critter

these cuties are from Penny Black, colored  with alcohol markers

Colour Crazy - Anything Hand Colored

several simple cards with just sentiments
Aud Sentiment - Anything Goes with a Sentiment

on these cards I used a bunch of skinny leftover strips to paper piece the coffee cups

30 day Use Your Scraps challenge - Day 1 - Hedgehog Birthday

Hi!
I'm was getting overrun by scraps - I usually just throw them into a flat rate box and it was so full, that I did not even feel like going in and trying to find something in that mess - plus I have another box of backgrounds and colored images and a drawer of die cut things - nothing was ever used, since I always went for a new sheet of paper when I needed something.
SO I decided to change it and gave myself a 30 day challenge - make a card every day just from what's in my scrap boxes.
First I went through the scraps and sorted then by color - anything that was big enough for a card base I turned into a card base. Then I made a bunch of 4 x 5 1/4 inch layers and the rest went into ziploc bags sorted by colors - I will try to use these for die cuts and layering.
To give me ideas for layouts I printed out several pages of MFT sketches - you can find them HERE.

Now let's start the challenge - I promise that for the next 30 days no new papers will be cut into and I will do my best to reduce my stash. It should not take up too much time, because I will be mostly using images I colored before and stashed away

Day 1

For my first card I used Penny Black hedgies I had colored years ago (with Prismacolor pencils), Sentiment is from SU and the little fence border was punched. Everything else is from my scraps.

I'm entering it into these challenges:
Crafty Friends - Animals
Cute Card Thursday - Critters
Stamploration - Stamps + Animals

SOS230 - Fairy Christmas

This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash is UFOs - UnFinished Objects.
I had a bunch of these salted watercolored backgrounds done for ages, just waiting for the right time to be used. Here is how I made them - take a large stamping block and apply 2-3 different shades of ink on it - spray it with water mister and then place your watercolor paper onto it - smoosh it, let it saturate a bit then lift. If you have some dry places on your paper, add a bit more water onto the block and press the paper down again. Play with it until you are happy with the result. Then sprinkle some salt on the still wet paper. If it's too dry and the salt is not melting, spray it with a bit of water from your mister. Let develop and dry.
It's a messy process, but fun, so it's best to create more backgrounds at the same time and then clean up :)
I used Stampin Up and TH Distress inks.
The little fairies are from Penny Black, they were colored with watercolor pencils and hand cut out.
Challenges:
Penny Black - Anything Goes with a stamp
Pile It On - Anything Winter/ Christmas
The Cutie Pie Challenge - Cute and Christmassy
The Crazy Challenge - Christmas
Card Mania - Christmas
Morgan's Art World - Non-traditionl colored Christmas

SOS188 - Spring hedgie

Good morning! This week we have a fun challenge over at Shopping Our Stash - use toilet paper or paper towels on your project, as a tool or be inspired by it.
For this card I adhered a piece of TP to my CS and then run it through inked embossing folder. That's how I got the yellow background layer..it's quite soft, but you have to look very close to realize it's a TP. Hedgehog is from a Penny Black spring set, colored with Spectrum Noir markers

SOS112 - Flowers, flowers everywhere

This week on Shopping Our Stash we want everyone to use their oldest punch. My oldest punch is a simple 5 petal flower, that dates back to times before I had any Primas or other store bought flowers.
I was wondering how to use it and then went a little punching crazy a created this:
In the process I reduced my stash of scraps a bit(a tiny bit)) as all the papers I used come from my scrap box.  Sentiment on the faux chalkboard is from Penny Black.

I'm also entering it into the following challenges:
'ABC' Challenges  -Use up scraps
Penny Black and more - punches and/or dies
Crafty Ribbon - anything with ribbon
