Kendra's Card Challenge meets Echo Park Baby Girl papers

I made these cards for the current challenge at Kendra's Card Challenge FB group. I'm low on baby cards so I decided to use baby themed paper and make some more. I used a paper pack called Baby Girl from Echo Park.

For some cards I used this cute Penny Black hedgehog stamp - I quickly colored it with alcohol markers
Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Something New (baby)

on 4 cards I used these baby themed stamps from Craft's Meow
Everybody Art - New (new baby)
Inkspirational - New or Welcome (baby)
Get Creative -  Something New

and on some just used the cut aparts from the paper pad

SOS417 - Rock-a-by Baby

This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash is called Under The Sun, Moon and Stars and here is what I made:
I used a VERY old Flourishes stamp set and made a shaker card - background is one of my experiments with pigment powders and the star sequins are from a past Christmas project.
The picture is not the best, but the card fits the challenge well :)

Challenges:

Using My Stash - Easter and baby card

Since I have all this free time on my hands I'm continuing with using up old packs of designer paper.
This time I finished a really old pack of Basic Grey paper called Lilykate - Basic Grey stopped making paper packs years ago, so you can imagine the age of this paper :)
There were only 6 sheets and some scraps left, so I managed to make 9 cards - the color palette is very soft blues, greens and yellows - perfect for baby and Easter cards.

and here is a close up: baby cards using SU stamps, colored with alcohol markers
 challenges:
Allsorts - Animals
Addicted to Stamps and more - Make Your Mark

more baby cards - stamp is from The Craft's Meow
Stinkin' Inkers - Pastel Palette

and Easter cards using digis from LOTV and Easter Animals stamps from CTMH
challenges: Let's Craft and Create - AG + Easter
Just Us Girls - Yellow, Green & Blue
Sweet Stampers - Easter or Spring

Ildico teddy bear & faux quilt

If you haven't taken a hop around the Paper Sundaes DT Blog Hop, then click on over there and enter for a chance to win lots of goodies! And, if you would like to win my personal blog candy - click on this post and follow the instructions.

I got in the mood for baby cards last week when I was creating a card for Ildico's challenge so this week I made another one. This time a baby boy card with a faux quilt background. I used various scraps of baby papers for it.
The Teddy is printed on a sticky sheet and colored with Prisma pencils.
If you are wondering why on sticky sheet here is the story - the company I work for is using these big half sheet labels for printing postage online. Quite often there is only one label printed so half of the sheet stays empty. I felt bad to just throw them out so I was thinking what could I use them for... and tadaaa - started printing my digi images on them. The surface is nice and smooth - great for coloring and you don't have to use glue to stick them on! :)

Ildi Co's Challenge #7 - Scrap & Metal

Today's challenge on Ildi Co's Creative Challenges is Scrap & Metal. When I first read the title/description of the challenge I imagined something tough and masculine, but then I thought - metal doesn't have to be tough... and look what I came up with - a baby card.
I used Ildi Co's Cuddles Kuma Plushie image, cut of the Christmas tag and colored him with Prisma pencils. For scraps I used scraps from BG Bittersweet paper. Metal is represented by Silver circle clip, silver dew drops - I also used silver ribbon and all the pieces are outlined with silver marker.
