Tomatoes and Seeds Cards

The first 2 cards were originally planned for our current challenge at Shopping Our Stash called My heart beets for you (where we want to see either hearts or vegetables). But due to my lack of planning I'm a bit late :) I still decided to make them as I would like to use them in the seed swaps I'm participating in.

Stamps are from Flourishes set called Italian Garden and papers are from MME Miss Caroline. All the images are colored with alcohol markers

For these 4 cards I used the same papers as before, just the stamp set is different - called Garden Dreams.
Challenges:
Passion for Markers - Anything Colored with Markers + Sentiment
Dream Valley - 2 or more patterned papers

Basic Grey - Eskimo Kisses - 30 Christmas cards from 6x6 paper pad

Phew, finally done! I finished using up another paper pack - this one is called Eskimo Kisses from Basic Grey - if I'm not mistaken it was released in 2009, so I was sitting on it for long enough :)
I already posted some of the cards in previous posts, now I'll show you the rest.
I managed to make 30 cards - from the simple ones I made 2 of each. The pad was not full, but I also found 2 partial 12x12 sheets from the same collection so I used those too.

I made several cards with cute critters - stamps are from Stampin' Up - owl and fox are retired and the polar bear is from a current set.
Crimbo Crackers - Anything Christmas Goes

Then I did some coloring - most of these images all from Flourishes, cardinals and teacups are from Power Poppy - all images were colored with alcohol markers
Always Fun Challenges - Anything Goes

and last but not least - cards featuring sentiments - different brands and scripts, but I like them all

Orchids - water colored

I made this card for the new challenge on Power Poppy - the challenge was to use a coloring medium that you don't usually use. I don't have any Power Poppy stamps, but I do have a bunch of Flourishes, designed by Marcella Hawley. This one is from Orchids stamp set.
Since I usually reach for markers I decided to water color + use no line coloring. I stamped the image in medium green and started experimenting. It's not perfect, but rather interesting so I used it.
I used a sketch from Papercards.cz
Embossing folder is from Spellbinders, cardstock from Stampin Up, leaf die probably from Joy craft and the rest is from my general stash :)
I'm also entering it into these challenges:
Alphabet Challenge - Y is for You Choose

The moon image is from an old Flourishes set called Rock-a-bye Baby. The background was made using a star template on watercolor paper. SOS168 - Peacock Inspiration

This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash is to use a chicken or any other bird on our creations. I'm not a big fan of chickens - growing up had to clean LOT of chicken coops.. so I decided to use a much prettier bird - peacock.

My peacock is from an older set from Flourishes called Strut Your Stuff. I colored it with Prisma pencils and added a bunch of flowers from my collection (stash). Funny  - no matter how many flowers I use, my drawers and shelf seem still full :) Nooo, I don't have too much stuff - just need a bigger craft room

SOS149 - May Day Daffodil

Good Morning! It's time for a new challenge at Shopping Our Stash. This week, since we get to turn the calendar to May, we're celebrating May Day. We'd like you to be inspired by the May Pole:
I was inspired by all the ribbons so I wanted to make something with lot of them...something else than just tying them in a bow..
I taped down scraps of ribbons on a CS panel and then secured them with decorative stitches.
Image is from Flourishes (Signs of Spring) and is colored with Prisma pencils. All the CS (even the base) are from my scrap box, so I'm not sure about exact colors :)

Challenges:

I used my brand new Stitched For You stamps and retired SU papers. Image was colored with Prisma pencils and of course I had to add some stitching.
Inside I stamped the same image in Tumbled Glass distress ink
