SOS7 - Sugar Nellie Luvvie card kit

Good morning!
It's Tuesday and that means another fun challenge at SOS! This week you need to use something you received from a swap, candy or RAK. Easy, right?
Here are my cards - yes cards, once I had the kit out in the open, I just had to make more than one :) I got this card kit in a swap last year - image is Luvvie from Sugar Nellie and everything I used was in the set - even the gorjus corner die cuts and the embossed CS. Oh - the Be Mine sentiment is from a different card kit from a different swap ;)
Images are colored with Copics and I also used my Spellbinders dies and border punch.
Isn't it funny, how you can make very different cards from the same kit?!

Challenges:
card and scrap - punches & dies
Stamptacular Sunday - seeing double (2x cards, 1-st one has 2 flowers, 2nd 2 corner dies)

Wedding cards galore

My brother-in-law is getting married in September so I finally found some time and created a wedding card - and not one, but 3, so my hubby can pick which one does he like the best.
First 2 cards are quite similar, both made with SU Medallion stamp. I choose the colors from their wedding invitation (red, silver, white, black) and here is what I created:

1. Medallion stamped with Versamark on white CS, embossed with silver EP. Layered with red and black CS. Sentiment is from Flourishes.2. On this one I stamped the Medallion on Brushed Silver CS and added a ribbon and heart charm. Sentiment is from Stampin Up.I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Lexi's Creation - embossing
Paper Cutz
- use metal (heart charm)
Cute Card Thursday
- no punches or dies

3. The third one is completely different - I used a Sugar Nellie wedding image, colored it with Copics and pencils and added Stickles on her veil. I really like how the ruffled ribbon came out - looks like a part of wedding garter or lingerie ;)I'm entering this card into Christmas Stampin All Year long Challenge - they want us to make anything else then Christmas card.

I'm really curious which one will be picked and sent, my favorite is the second one. Which one do you like?

PSC26 - Sugar Nellie - Rock Idol

Good Morning and Happy Sunday!
This is a card for our new challenge on Paper Sundaes and we want you to use LOTS OF LAYERS!
I used Rock Idol from Manga Kids collection from Sugar Nellie, our sponsor for this week. As you probably seen on my blog I tend to make girly cards so my collection of designer papers goes that way too. I couldn't find a good papers for this card so I went to raid Michaels and I found these cool papers from WeR Memory Keepers (WhiteOut collection).
I wanted to make it look boyish/rugged so I distressed the edges and made the stitching not too straight ;)
The Sketch is from Pollycraft Challenge Blog and the sentiment is a freebie from TLC Creations.

Couple of Easter Cards

Easter is around the corner so I had to speed up my Easter card production. My goal was to create simple, flat, easy to mail cards. I have to mail them overseas and don't want to break the bank ;) I didn't use any sentiments as most of my relatives don't speak English - I will come up with some greeting and print it to save myself lots of writing ;)
First one is made with a Sugar Nellie stamp - Spring has sprung. I used Stampin Up DP Shades of Spring and Kraft CS. The image is colored with a mix of Prisma pencils and markers
Next come these cute bunnies from Penny Black. They are colored with Prisma pencils. CS is Orchid Opulence and DP is from DCWV Spring Pack. I used a satin ribbon and some flowers for decoration. I'm entering it into Penny Black Saturday Challenge - spring colors
For the third card I used a Sarah Kay image called Precious Moments - isn't it cute. No DP here - I just embossed a piece of So Saffron CS with Swiss dots EF and sponged the edges. Then I just used a sheer ribbon and some pearls for decoration.Last (for today) is this cute card with bunny hiding between daffodils. It's an image I got from last year's Easter swap, so don't know who made it. I colored it with markers and pencil. DP is again Stampin Up Shades of Spring and CS is Orchid Oppulence. I'm entering it into Rosie D's Challenge - Think Spring
