SOS29 - Stamped candles

Welcome to another Shopping Our Stash challenge - this week's theme is Light and/or white or Meljens - use something from your stash that represents light- candle, fireplace, stars, Christmas lights, or decorate a candle, make a lantern, etc, or make a project that is mostly white or use Meljens image - our sponsor for this week.
When I saw the "light" challenge, I immediately thought about stamping on candles. For today I made 2 - the little one with the red snowman was easy peasy, the dark burgundy was harder - probably because it has a little texture. The images didn't want to adhere to the surface, rather they were sticking on the wax paper. Both stamps are from Inkadinkado. They are both stamped with Versamark and heat embossed.
The brads on the tree were just pushed in the wax, I used hot glue on the star and ribbons. I found out that's the only thing that would hold good on candles - even the strongest glue dots don't do the job properly.

Challenges:
C.R.A.F.T. - Christmas gift
Crafty cardmakers - heat embossing
The Ribbon Girls - Christmas + ribbon
Just Some Lines - Handmade gift

Christmas candles

Guess what was I doing last weekend? I got all the large/medium candles in the house and decided to turn them into Christmas candles. It was really fun and I would have done more, but these were all the candles I could find :)
The tree and snowflake stamps are from SU set called Snow swirled. The images are embossed and then transfered onto the candle. They have matching sentiments on the other side. The snowman is from Inkadinkado.
The gold candle was too bumpy to stamp on, so I just decorated it with SU papers and handcrafted organza flower.
Next time I'll try to transfer a colored image, just have to stock up on candles.

I'm entering these into Charizma Cardz Challenge - anything goes
