I made this card for an inspiration post at Ching-Chou Kuik's challenge and inspiration blog and it's featuring a greyscale image called The Fading Rose

I partially colored it with alcohol markers and mounted it on glitter paper. I also added some sparkly ribbon for extra bling. Added extra texture with floral embossing folder.

CCK - Northern Blessing

This card was created using a precolored digi  from Ching-Chou Kuik called Northern Blessing. She's perfect for making a quick winter card

 I paired the image with some retired Stampin Up snowflake papers in blue tones. I wanted to keep it flat for mailing so I only added some silver peel-off dots from Love from Lizi and a snowflake die cut.

CCK - Crimson Moon

This is a card I created for this month's challenge at Ching Chou Kuik's challenge and inspiration blog using a decoupage image called Crimson Moon.

if you never used a decoupage image here is a closer look - it's a set of images you cut out and layer on top of each other with dimensionals creating a 3D effect

For the background I used some japanese patterned paper, cardstock, glitter paper and gems from my stash

CCK - Purple Dragonfly

I'm back with another card featuring a Ching-Chou Kuik image - this time I used an image called Purple Dragonfly.

I tried something a bit different this time - I printed the digi on kraft cardstock and colored it with Prismacolor pencils. The pencils give you a nice coverage but the effect is a bit different than coloring on white.

For the background I used a bit of patterned paper, washi tape and a kraft ribbon for extra texture. And also a background die with white CS.

I'm back with another card created for Ching-Chou Kuik's challenge and inspiration blog. This week I used an image called The Seahorse and it's from Circle Kimono Ladies series

I decided to make a shaker card with image in the background. Image was colored with alcohol markers, papers and sequins are from Stampin Up, sentiment a sticker from Tim Holtz.

CCK - Winter Watcher

I made this card for November challenge at Ching-Chou Kuik's Challenge blog. It feels almost wintery here so I decided to make a card in cool colors. I used and image called Winter Watcher.

I used a spotlight technique and matched the pale purple ad grey colors from the image with patterned papers. Added some peel of stickers from Love from Lizzie and a snowflake die cut

I watercolored it, layered the image on a sparkly ombre cardstock and decorated the card with a bunch of Prima flowers in autumn colors.

I made this card for this month's challenge at Ching-Chou Kuik's challenge and Inspiration blog. I chose a pre-colored image called Holy Venice Night and created this low key Christmas card. I didn't add any sentiment so it can be used as a generic holiday  season card, but adding the gold touches makes it more festive.

I'm back with another Fall themed creation by Ching Chou Kuik. This one uses an image called Autumn Falls.

Image was colored with a mix of Prismacolor pencils and alcohol markers. I used fall colors for papers and a little acorn for embellishment. Added some shimmer with Wink of Stella.

I'm back with another fall inspired Ching Chou Kuik creation. For this one I used an image called Autumn Breeze Fairy. 
 

Image was colored with alcohol markers and for the background I used papers from my stash. Didn't add any embellishments to make the image stand out.

Can you believe it's September already? I made this card for September challenge over at Ching-Chou Kuik's challenge blog. I used a seasonal image called Autumn Harvest.

The image is colored with a mix of alcohol markers and Prismacolor pencils. For the background I chose matching papers from my scrap box. The sequins are from Stampin Up.

 Hello crafty friends - I'm back with another mermaid card featuring a Ching Chou Kuik image - this is  is called Sunset Jasmine.

I colored it with alcohol markers and layered it on a pink CS that I run through my big shot with this swirly die that reminds me of waves. Finished the card with some stamped seashells and a polka dot ribbon.

I'm back with another mermaid from Beautiful Tails Collection - this one is called Flowing Crimson

I colored the image with alcohol markers and other some details with white gel pen.  The watercolor background was created with pigment powders. 

Kept the card relatively plain, only added a few sequins and a sentiment.

CCK - Autumn Sea

This is a card I made for Ching-Chou Kuik's Challenge blog - I used an image called Autumn Sea and you can find it in a 5 pack of mermaids called Beautiful Tails 

Mermaid was colored with alcohol markers, fussy cut and added to the backgroud made with acrylic paints. For embellishments I just added a couple of light blue sequins and a stamped and die cut sentiment.

I'm back with another Christmas card. For this one  I used a pre-colored image called Holly Night. 

I made an easel card with metallic green paper. Kept it pretty simple to keep focus on the image, just added a gold bow.

CCK- Crimson Holly

I'm back with another card featuring a pre-colored image. This one is called Crimson Holly - it's a Christmas image but I decided to make a non-Christmas/any occasion card with it.

The holly is not very prominent and I decided to focus on the butterfly and bird. Picked the colors from the image and added embossed papers and lot of flowers. I used a sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

I can't believe it's July already and I'm back with more more cards featuring Ching-Chou Kuik's wonderful digi images. In a good tradition of Christmas in July I decided to make my cards this month Christmas themed. For the first one I used a pre-colored image called Cherish Christmas. 

The background was embossed with a large Spellbinders embossing folder and to make it more festive a added a large rhinestone swirl from Recollection.

Hello everyone!

I'm back with another card featuring a grayscale image by Ching-Chou Kuik - this one is called Red Poppy

I didn't feel like coloring  her skin in usual skintones and I was a bit inspired by Avatar so I tried my hand at blue skin. Since this was a gray scale image I didn't color everything. 

Paper is from an old K&Co paper pack, green embossed strip and the sentiment are from some new goodie sets. Added some peel of heart stickers from Love from Lizzie.

CCK - Merbutterfly Fairy Freedom

Hello everyone!

I'm back with another card featuring a grayscale image by Ching-Chou Kuik - this one is called Merbutterfly Fairy Freedom.

I didn't color everything on this image, left most of her hair untouched, just added some purple highlights. Thant's the beauty of grayscale images, you can color as much or as little as you want.

Papers are from an old K&Co pack called Jubilee and the image was colored with alcohol markers and Wink of Stela.
