Red hearts ephemera card

This is a card I made with goodies from Simon Says Stamp monthly kit - everything other than the card base and twine is from the kit. This month the kit included a whole pack of Tim Holtz vintage ephemera and I used a bunch of them on this card. I don't really do Valentine card but this card could be used for Valentine or any other occasion.

More Christmas cards with Simple Stories paper

I'm back with more Christmas cards created using the Simon Says Stamp December 2023 kit.

For most of the cards I used only things in the kit - Tim Holtz frames and sentiment sticker book. Added a few vintage Christmas stickers that I had for ages.

Christmas cards with Hetty Clare Art

I haven't been making cards in a while - no mojo - but with less work outside I'm trying to get back to it.

Not making cards didn't stop me from accumulating craft supplies and I have a stash of unused or barely used card kits. So I decided to start using them and using them up

These cards were made with papers from December Simon Says Stamp kit (I know it's September already) and digi images from Hetty Clare Art. Sentiments mostly come from the kit as well. With these cute images making the cards is pretty easy. I think the papers in the kit were from Simple Stories and I have more of them left so stay tuned for more Christmas cards in the near future

SSS March kit

I decided to finally use my Simon Says Stamp kit from March of this year - I made these 7 cards using mainly the materials from  the kit  + cardstock and embellishments.
I still have a bunch of papers left so I will be making more for sure.

SOS466 Spread Your Wings

This week's challenge at Shopping Our Stash is called Spread Your Wings and we want participants to feature something that flies. My flying thing is a butterfly and on this card I used a variety of things. Cardstock and patterned paper are from Simon Says Stamp March kit, butterfly die cut as well as the little metalic butterflies are from Stampin Up and the sentiment is a Tim Holtz sticker that was included in one of last year's SSS kits.

Spring Cards with Simon Says Stamp March kit

I've been playing with SSS March kit and some fun spring cards
For these 2 I used the fun flowery papers, bunny stamps and cut apart sentiment from the kit. Bunnies are very lightly colored with alcohol markers and fussy cut.

For the next 2 cards  used the images printed on watercolor paper that came with the kit and colored them with water based markers and aqua painter. They are pretty big so I just added a little sentiment.

Simon Say Stamp December kit

I bought this month's kit from Simon Says Stamp because I loved the papers, decoupage sheets and the matching stamps as well. I made a whole bunch of cards, but I was in such hurry to mail out my Christmas cards that I mailed a bunch of them before realizing that I didn't take a picture . I used up all the papers from the kit and all the decoupage sheets and made close to 30 cards. Here are the ones that I have left

these cards are made with decoupage sheets - very simple, just rounded the corners (note to self - it's much easier to round the corners BEFORE all the decoupage layers are assembled) :) and added a sentiment from the set. But they were quick and easy.

and more cards made with cut apart sheet of DSP and patterned paper

Watercolored Holiday Floral Cards

I love the Holiday Floral stamp from Simon Says Stamp - it's perfect for watercoloring - so when I started playing with it I had to make several cards.I used a mix of watercolor paint and diluted ink. All cards were finished of with ink splatter.
First one was embossed  with platinum embossing powder

The blue one was just stamped with Marina Mist ink and not embossed

last one was embossed with sparkly white embossing powder

and here are all 3 together - which one is your favorite? For me it's probably the first one :)
